🌍 Over the next five years, INASIA_ERC will undertake intensive archaeological surveys and fieldwork in the mountain caves of the remote Tien Shan and Pamir-Alay regions—some of the most geologically and culturally significant highlands in Central Asia.
🏔️ These rugged landscapes hold untapped clues about early human history, mobility, and adaptation. By exploring caves that have remained virtually untouched, the project aims to reconstruct prehistoric lifeways and better understand human-environment interactions across millennia.
Led by a multidisciplinary team of experts, the project will also foster international collaboration and capacity-building in archaeological science and conservation.
📡 Follow us for insights from the field, scientific discoveries, and updates as we uncover new chapters of our shared human story.
